Experience
Field Officer in Great Western Industries Ltd, Bangalore, A firm dealing with Gherkin crop contract farming from December
1997 to November 1998.
The main responsibility of field officer included identification of worthy farmers for contract farming, supply of inputs
to them, procurement of fruits and safety transport to the processing factory, managing buyers of fruit and field assistants.
I worked as Juior Research Fellow in the Department of
Agricultural Economics, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, from July 1999 to March 2003.
My job nature work was field survey by interview method, computerization of data, analysis of data and report writing.
I worked in the following two schemes.
1. "A study in to the causes and effects of changes of land use pattern in wet, semi-dry and dry environments
of Tamil Nadu" - a Tamil Nadu Government Land use board project
2. "Livestock - crop production systems analysis for sustainable production" - a National Agricultural
Technology Project implemented with the aid of world bank.
I worked in the same position in the Department of Agricultural Economics, Agricultural College & Research Institute,
Killikulam from April 2003 to December 2004 in the NATP scheme entitled " Livestock - Crop Production Systems Analysis
for sustainable Production".
I worked as Junior Research Fellow in the Library of Agricultural College & Research Institute, Killikulam from January
2005 to January 2006.
